It really must have been quite hard
For the NHS to come this far
From chloroform to operations on the heart
But in another 60 years
There might be robots with pink ears
And well-trained monkeys
Operating on 2060 funkies

And many other fantastic things
That another 60 years might bring
But right now we praise the NHS for what they’ve done
And hope that 60 years will bring some fun…
