NHS
I woke up… I was in a ward… a hospital ward. All around me were people in white gowns, then I looked down… so was I.
People were scurrying around, talking to the people in white gowns. Then I realised the people in gowns were patients, that meant so was I. I walked out of the room and I saw a calendar. Nothing unusual about it…except that it said: July 5th 2068!
It was weird enough waking up in a hospital and not being able to remember anything but the date had to be wrong, it can’t be 2068!!
Oh I forgot to say. (These are the only things I know and remember) My name is Mia . . . Brown . . . no . . . yes . . . yes! My name is Mia Brown. I am 13, well I think I am after all the year is 2068 seemingly!
I decided that I was going to explore this place.
I walked along a brightly lit hallway until I saw a sign. It said: Welcome to the NHS.
I’m in the NHS I thought. I can’t remember, I don’t know why I’m here. I turned and saw a woman in a white top and skirt walking down the hall. She can’t be a patient. They wear gowns. Sooo she must be a doctor.
I ran up to her. She stopped, turned around and walked right through me!
Wwhat! How? She just walked right through me! That was when I realised . . . I wasn’t a patient I was a ghost!
After I recovered myself I continued to explore. I walked into a room, a waiting room. I picked up a book it was about the NHS, I read it.
