The NHS

There have been ups and downs,
In the NHS's 60 years,
The ride starts in 1948.

It went up and up as the NHS cured thousands of patients,
Then a sharp drop down as TB started affecting patients,
This was a big low,
For many years no one could find a cure,
Finally there was a turn for the better,
Medical scientists mixed three antibiotics and made a cure.
